Subcontracting in Home Care
by: Marcia Oliver MSPT

Kushi,

If you are an individual wanting to subcontract, your best bet is to take PRN (as needed) work. You get paid more and carry your own benefits. You can have your own attorney write you up a subcontracting agreement but why bother... when all you need to do is tell the agency you are looking for PRN work... this saves you money, time and footwork. The following page my be of some help to you.

If you are a clinic, hospital, SNF or other business entity looking to subcontract with home health agency's, you will need to consult an attorney.

All the best!
