Home exercise DVD-stage 4 lung cancer.

Any recommended Wheelchair exercise DVDs. My friend has lung cancer with bone lesions and a DVD might help her regain some strength. They have Kaiser insurance and her oncologists keep telling her that she needs exercise but nothing seems to happens. Thanks.

Lung Cancer Exercise

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your friend. My mom has largely been stuck in bed and we were very concerned that she could develop pneumonia in her remaining lung. The doctor also recommended exercise.

We found some exercises on the web which can be done in a chair. They were developed by a lung cancer pulmonary clinical nurse specialist. Maybe they can help your friend.

This site has a great resource specifically for wheelchair bound, weak people who are wanting to gain strength. The coolest part of the 74 page e-book is that the book teaches you how to progress each exercise depending on your ability!
