Handicap Shower Chair

The Handicap shower chair - to rent or to buy - that is the question and a simple one at that.

If you plan to use Bathroom safety equipment long term, buy it. It's that simple. If you plan to use it short term, step back and look at other family members and their health. You may want to buy it anyway and store it in the attic till you need it again.

Some medical equipment stores will rent it to you but not many since shower chairs can tend to get grungy looking and hygiene can be a factor for this item. But if they do rent one, refer to the preceding paragraph to save money.

Handicap shower chairs come in all shapes and sizes. From the basics right up to motor driven ones...and then on up to shower wheelchairs. Again, it depends on your needs - so, let's look at our options...

Tomorrow :)
